Mpowerme Website and Blog Design
We have recently designed and built a new website for Mpowerme, a Southampton based coaching company.
The website itself is made up of static web pages, apart from the 'Flash' animated testimonials on the Homepage. Due to the nature of their business their range of photographic images was very limited, so we utilised testimonials to break up the content, we also sourced a couple of library images as well.
Their site also contains a Blog, using the Wordpress blogging software, that is seamlessly integrated into the design of their main website.
The Blog, called Postively Coffee, contains book reviews, details of local events and inspirational quotes. Unlike normal web pages a Blog allows site visitors to leave comments on the various topics on the pages. This is a great way to attract potential new customers to make contact.
The Wordpress software can be configured to allow anyone to comment or only those with a password. Any comments submitted can be withheld from publication until they have been moderated by the site owner.
Blogging is also a good way to improve your search engine rankings.
